Enjoy two nights and three days in the beauty of the great outdoors with other women in an atmosphere of fitness, learning, and bonding. Fit and Healthy Escapes a wide variety of activities including: all types of exercise (Yoga, Pilates, Kickbox), crafts, spa beauty (massage, manicures/pedicures, hairstyles), and much more! You can choose from a variety of classes, workshops and consultations focusing on health issues, combating stress, weight management or a variety of other wellness concerns.
You'll then wind down your day with a healthy dinner followed by your choice of a soothing massage, facial, aroma-bath or other relaxing treatment.
Personal choice is emphasized and you can design the vacation you want. Imagine waking up to Saturday morning to Sunrise yoga, releasing all of your stress and breathing in fresh air to start out your day, followed by a Fittrek adventure through the Appalachian trails. Meet back at the studio for Yoga or Pilates 101. Next, we will have a picnic 101, where a specialist will introduce healthy alternatives to picnic with various menus and assortments. You will then have the opportunity to work in groups to prepare your own picnic and enjoy the goodies. After lunch, there will be various team activities. Throughout the day, lectures and workshops are offered on a variety of wellness topics. Learn to deal with medical issues, quit smoking, lose weight, get fit, manage stress, achieve balance, accept yourself and control your life.
Dinner will be a meeting with a top Health chef and Nutritionist who show you how to prepare a meal that can be nutritious, healthy, and delicious! After dinner, we will gather at the campfire for time to bond, exchange stories and celebrate the chance to be fit, healthy, and happy! The night will end with a guided meditation.
