Who is Madeline Dolente and what is Madfitness?

Madeline was born on March 15, 1976 in Cherry Hill, NJ. She began taking dance lessons at the age of 3 and by kindergarten she was choreographing routines that her and her friends presented at birthday parties. She was on several sports teams throughout her childhood and played soccer and lacrosse in high school, while pursuing a modeling career.

Madeline began teaching aerobics and personal training as a freshman at Greensboro College, while playing soccer and running for the college’s Cross Country team. She wrote a column for the school newspaper called, “Getting Fit with Madeline!” She was elected to Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges for her grades and active leadership roles in the college and throughout the community. She graduated with an Honors Degree and a BS in Accounting, Business Administration, and Economics in 1998.

Upon graduation, she accepted an offer with KPMG Consulting, now known as BearingPoint Consulting and moved to the DC area in September of 1998. She continued to work as a consultant, implementing Oracle Financial Management systems for clients including the Department of Education, Military Sealift Command, and the Department of Health and Human Services. In the mornings, evenings, and week-ends she directed the Group Exercise and Cycling programs at the Ballston Sport & Health club and the Van Ness Gold’s Gym and taught classes throughout the area. For 7 years she spent 2 week-ends a month attending conferences, lectures, and seminars training with the best fitness experts in the world.

Recently she gave up a career as a consultant for the techies to consult the fitness industry. She is the trainer of the trainers, a presenter at conferences worldwide and a faculty member of Town Sports International. The rest is history. Her passion is endless. She thrives on making a difference in people’s lives. Her videos, appearances, books and articles are a small piece of the love she has for health and fitness. Every day she seeks to stimulate and motivate others.
